Event Rules

• This event is being held in 5 countries (South Korea, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand), and winners will only be selected from these.

• Winners will be contacted via the social media account used to participate. (Twitter or Instagram)

• This event is only for participants of ages 14 and up.

• In the case where the winner is a minor, the permission of a legal guardian will be required, and a lack of permission is grounds for disqualification from the event.

• The winner announcement is scheduled to take place within 7 days of the end of the event. (This might change depending on circumstances.)

• The winners’ social media IDs (Twitter or Instagram) will be displayed in the announcement post.

• In the case of the iPad prize, it will be sent within 7 days of the winner announcement, but delivery times may change depending on location.

• In the case where the Google Play Coupon or the Starbucks Coupon prizes are not available or released in the winner’s country, they will be replaced with other products of similar value.

• Prizes cannot be exchanged for the prized of other countries. In the case of the Google Play or Starbucks Coupon prize exceeding their expiration dates, extensions will not be granted.

• The Google Play and Starbucks Coupons will be delivered to their respective winners via their Instagram or Twitter account within 7 days of the winner announcement.

• Collection of personal information is required to send the prizes to the winners. Winners will be ineligible to receive the prize reward if correspondence is not made within 7 days of the winner announcement.

• Due to Public Charges and Tax regulations differing between countries, any eventual taxes and fees on prizes valued above $600 have to be covered by the winner. For this purpose, information and personal identification documents belonging to the winner may be requested, and refusing to provide these details will result in disqualification from the event. 

• This event and any dates specified may change depending on internal circumstances at Devsisters.

• Devsisters employees are excluded from entering in this event.

• Winners are not allowed to choose the color or other options in regards to their prizes. 

• Devsisters does not take responsibility for issues regarding reselling the prizes to a third party.

• The participating account and the related post must remain public until the winner reveal date, and the post must contain the abovementioned hashtags in order to count as a valid entry.

The following may cause entrants to have their entry invalidated or be disqualified from participating in the event.

 1) Entering into the event using incorrect and/or false information, either on purpose or by mistake

 2) Failing to enter a shipping address during the entry period, or entering an incorrect address (including changing place of residence)

 3) Deactivation or deletion of social media account, or if the winning account is found to be in violation of the Devsisters Terms of Service

 4) Unclear response or refusal to receive prize

 5) The prize being returned after delivery due to prolonged absence or incorrectly entered information

 6) The recipient of the prize not matching the identity of the winner of the event

 7) Inappropriate nickname of winning account

 8) Having history of receiving punishment for breaking the rules in any Cookie Run game

 9) Being selected as a winner in this event through illicit means (ex. using multiple accounts, abusing bugs and/or flaws in the system, etc.)

June 27 Update Patch Notes - Season 8, Electric Eel Cookie

1. NEW COOKIE & PET

- Electric Eel Cookie: Collects electric energies and moves like lightning.

- Bolt Eel: Fires electric energies and destroys obstacles ahead!

THE LIVING DEEP SEA CITY EVENT MODE

- Journey through the moving deep-sea city Wandercrab! Earn Deep Sea Tokens and trade them for plentiful rewards.

    *The Deep Sea Tokens obtained in Part 1 of The Living Deep Sea City event mode will not be usable in Part 2 of the event. Make sure to use them all before their duration ends!

SEASON 8 INFINITE EVENTS!

- Enjoy the various events celebrating Season 8, and open the Infinite Chests you get as rewards!

- The Infinite Chests can contain anything from Cookies, Pets, Treasures, Cookie Costumes, Jelly Shapes, Crystals, Rainbow Cubes, and more!

BREAKOUT

1. Main Episode Rotation

- The Main Episode map Yogurca: Secrets of Mirage Village has rotated out and is replaced by the Deep Sea City Wandercrab map.

- Join the Cookies in an exciting adventure under the sea!

2. Tallying Changes

- You now need to run with all runners to get the final rewards.

- If you were unable to run with every runner before the reset, your run will continue the following week.

- Runs that carry over resets are limited to Rainbow V rank and do not appear on the leaderboards.

3. Special Episodes

- Special rules have been added to Special Episodes in Breakout.

- Certain runners get special effects added when running. 

- The specific rules will change with each new Special Episode.

- You can now choose Jelly Shapes to use with each Cookie.

- New ad rewards have been added in the Main Lobby. Help Kiwi Cookie fill up on gas!

- You can look for gas once a day, but you can watch ads to get more.

- When Kiwi Cookie's tank is full, you get Crystal and Rainbow Cube rewards!

- Removed the upper limit to movement speed during the skill activation

- Changed so that Giant Mode can activate during the skill activation

- Changed so that Cookie can now pass through obstacles during the skill activation

- Fixed an issue where obstacles destroyed after obtaining Electric Barrier Points would not yield Electric Barrier Points

- Increased cooldown by 0.3 sec

- Increased Shoaling Points

- Changed so that the triple aerial attacks now ignore all platform collisions

- Changed so that the Cookie's Energy doesn't drain while standing still after finishing a triple aerial attack

- Increased skill cooldown by 0.5 sec

- Changed so that Claw Charge Points and the points from the Magic Candy are combined

- Adjusted the Claw Charge Points of the Magic Candy

- Fixed an issue where the Claw Charge attack would cause abnormal collision detection

PETS

1. Lantern Jellyfish

- Reduced the distance moved ahead during the skill activation

- In the case of there not being enough Jellies to envelop in Magnetic Auras, the missing number of Jellies will instead be added onto the next activation of the skill

- Increased points for Jellies in Magnetic Auras

2. Helmsman Will

- Increased points for Wheel Boomerangs

3. Bad Pepper

- Fixed an issue where Chili Coins would be created above the Energy Gauge, rendering the Pet unable to collect them

TROPHY RACE: LAND'S END

1. Name Changes

- Trophy Race: Champions League has been renamed to Trophy Race: Land's End.

- Champions Shop has been renamed into Land's End Shop.

2. Shop Changes

- Cookie Costumes previously sold in the shop have been replaced by Costume Bundle Tickets.

- Please look forward to the new special rewards waiting in the next season!

3. Map Changes

- The Ancient Forest Altar map has rotated out and is replaced by the Spooky Scary School map.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

1. NEW SEASON 

- Champions League is back!

- Champions League is a seasonal mode that opens Thursday 4:00 PM (GMT+9) the first and third weeks of a season, where you run in 3 arenas and compete against other runners.

- In Hydrangea Season 1, the first season, the following applies.

- Season 1 begins with the update.

- The Congratulate section features the Top 3 runners from the final season of the previous Champions League.

- The Congratulation Rewards for Season 1 default to the basic rewards. (Starting with Season 2, the Top 3 runners choose the rewards.)

2. GRAND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

- Grand Champions League Invitations are now available as rewards from Champions League.

- Previously only runners who finished Top 10% of Champions League were able to obtain invitations, but starting this season all runners within the Top 20% are eligible for invitations.

- Participating in the Grand Champions League without an invitation instead requires 10,000 Crystals. 

- The Grand Champions League schedule will be released at a later date.

COOKIE TRIALS

- Score requirements for certain ranks have been adjusted.

3. Trial List

- The runner in 1st place on a New Cookie Cup's Hard Mode leaderboard will now be displayed.

- For New Cookie Cups without Hard Modes, the runner in 1st place of the Normal Mode will instead be displayed.

NICKNAME CHANGES

- Changing your in-game nickname is now free, down from costing 990 Crystals.

- When you change nickname, you must wait 90 days before you can change it again.

KNOWN ISSUES - iOS

- An issue where the rank rewards and the Real-time Score Requirements do not display as intended in the Rewards menu of the Giant Veggie Contest event

- The actual rewards for Chapter 1 are as follows.

  - Top 100: 1,000 Crystals, Title (Super Giant Veggie Champ), Title (Budding Champ)

  - Top 1%: 1,000 Crystals, Title (Budding Champ)

  - Top 5%: 900 Crystals, Title (Budding Champ)

  - Top 10%: 800 Crystals, Title (Budding Champ)

  - Top 20%: 700 Crystals

  - Top 30%: 600 Crystals

  - Top 50%: 500 Crystals

  - Top 80%: 400 Crystals

  - Top 100%: 300 Crystals
