A Cookie filled with energy and determined to brave the cold of winter to give Cookies their presents! Eggnog Cookie has arrived! 🎁
Here is a list of what’s new in this update.
1. EGGNOG COOKIE & MERRY HAT PET
- Eggnog Cookie: Enters a chimney at given intervals, sneaking up to Cookies’ bedsides to give them presents!
- Merry Hat: Changes an obstacle into a present at given intervals, then opens it to release a variety of Present Jellies!
2. NEW TREASURE
Jingle Jingle Wreath: Reindeer Spirits appear in the sky at given intervals, destroying obstacles and dropping Footprint Jellies.
3. STORY MODE SPECIAL EPISODE: A VERY SPECIAL WINTER
The new Story Mode Special Episode: A Very Special Winter, has been added!

4. WINTER SURVIVAL RUN
Run in the redecorated Survival Run and claim the plentiful rewards!
5. FRIENDLY RUN WINTER SEASON OPEN!

STORY MODE CHANGES
Story Mode has received some improvements and the reward system has been changed.
As mentioned in previous notices, all players will receive a personal choice whether to keep or reset their previous progress.
- Keeping your progress: You keep going where you left off, but will be ineligible for the changed rewards of already completed stages and chapters.
- Resetting your progress: You start again from the very beginning of the Story Mode, but become able to receive the rewards for all the stages again.
Since the total number of stages has been reduced, players' progress is kept relative to their completed percentage of stages.
This might result in some players starting out in a slightly different location than before the update.
MAIN MISSION CHANGES
With the changes to the Story Mode, the Main Missions and their rewards have also changed.
Complete the new missions and receive all the rewards that come with them!
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
The Eggnog Season has started!
MAPS
- Bamboo Wilds has rotated out and has been replaced with Cozy Winter Village.
- Certain patterns in the Shattered Kingdom map have been adjusted.
- Certain patterns in the Ancient Forest Altar map have been adjusted.
SYSTEM
In Legend matches, you now gain additional Gold Tickets depending on your rating when playing after you’ve reached the Run Limit.
When playing after you’ve reached the Run Limit in Legend matches, players will now get the option to watch ads to gain extra rewards.
After dropping out of Legend Tier, players now need to complete a Promotion Mission to return to the Tier.
A "Special Bonus" feature has been added, giving players a chance for additional rewards when running.
A new Distraction, "Time Amplifier," has been added. It will appear in the newly added map.
- Time Amplifier: Appears randomly, increasing the game speed temporarily.
OTHER
In order to save Combi information, the Combi Ranking feature is temporarily unavailable. (Scheduled for re-open November 30, 2021)
In order to allow for more accurate calculations in the new and changed maps, Dr. Wasabi Cookie's Combi Generator is temporarily unavailable in Shattered Kingdom and Cozy Winter Village.
GUILD & GUILD RUN CHANGES
- Guild Run - Arena 1: Chess Choco Cookie and Nougat Knight have been excluded.
- Guild Run - Arena 12: Cookiemals and Pure Cream have been excluded.
- High Scores containing the excluded Combos will be reset.
As Starlight Nightlight will be buffed with the December 14 update, it will be excluded from the following Guild Run Arenas and Postseason matches.
- Excluded from Arena 10 Guild Run matches.
- Excluded from Arena 10 Postseason matches.
- High Scores including Starlight Nightlight will be reset.

MAIN MENU
The menu that appears when you press the PLAY! button has been improved so that scrolling through all available game modes is possible.
TROPHY RACE - DR. WASABI COOKIE’S COMBI GENERATOR
An “advanced search” feature has been added to Dr. Wasabi Cookie’s Combi Generator for Trophy Race.
Players can choose to get results for unobtained Cookies/Pets/Treasures.
Players can choose to get results including specific Cookies/Pets/Treasures.
Players can choose to get results excluding specific Cookies/Pets/Treasures.
BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS AND BUG FIXES
COOKIES
- Cookiemals: Removed the automatic jump as Maple Panda Cookie’s flying skill finishes, increased points for Choco Ring Jellies, Rainbow Choco Ring Jellies, Rollout Dash, Maple Jellies, and Rainbow Maple Jellies
- Chess Choco Cookie: Fixed an issue where Super Jump did not work as intended at the end of Knight Blast, fixed an issue where the collision detection for certain unobtainable Jellies did not work as intended during the Chess Piece skill duration, increased Chess Piece Points, increased Last Blast points
- Sugar Glass Cookie, Captain Ice Cookie: Changed so that accumulated Magic Candy effects are used during skill activation too
- Sour Belt Cookie: Fixed an issue where the skill recovery time differed depending on when the skill ended
- Lilac Cookie: Fixed an issue where an unintended amount of points would be granted if the enemy boss would toss a dagger as a Cookie Relay occurred, making the relay Cookie hit away the dagger.
- Red Pepper Cookie, Roll Cake Cookie: Fixed an issue where the Obstacle Destruction Points of a slide obstacle related to the Cookies’ abilities would be visible on the top of the obstacle when destroyed.
PETS
- Pure Cream: Points for Pure Cream Jellies increased
- Nougat Knight: Increased points for when Nougat Knight collects and releases Jellies
- Floral Froglet: Fixed an issue where Floral Froglet would release all remaining Jellies at once when the Cookie is rescued from a hole by a Magic Candy’s Blessing effect
TREASURES
- Divine Guardian Shield: Reduced the total number of Shield charges, changed the Treasure’s mechanic to no longer activate Magnetic Aura from collisions but instead from Shield Jellies that appear at certain intervals, added a new mechanic to make a Shield Jelly appear immediately in Bonus Time with a stronger Magnetic Aura, removed the mechanic that granted bonus points for all Jellies collected by the Shield’s Magnetic Aura. (The Shield’s Magnetic Aura will no longer activate if all Shield charges have been used. The Shield’s Magnetic Aura is a unique mechanic that does not stack with other similar Magnetic Aura effects.)

- Cookiemals & Pure Cream: Points for Pure Cream Jellies increased
- Chess Choco Cookie & Nougat Knight: Points for Chess Pieces increased
OTHER
- Added units of measure to descriptions of Treasures that function based on run distance

- Cookie Relay is now possible without using Coins.
- Burning Day effects have been changed as follows.

- Saturday: Free Rescue > Coin Bonus 50%
