A permanent source of Invocation Tokens and Shards have been added. In addition, several changes have been made to Main Story Mode.1. Invocation Tokens added to the Breakout Shop

- Exchanged for Light Spheresx1,500
- Restock: every 7 days
- To be added on July 2, 09:00 (GMT+9)2. Changes to the amount of Light Spheres in all 3 Breakout Episodes
- BEFORE: Light Spheres x1,590 total in all 3 Episodes combined
- AFTER: Light Spheres x2,190 total in all 3 Episodes combined (maximum increased by 600)
*Please note that the total number of Light Spheres refers to the maximum sum of all Light Spheres that can be found in the entirety of Breakout.

1. Main Story Mode: Special Unlock Period & Compensation of Story Tickets
We want to apologize to the players who felt a lack of satisfaction due to the difficulty (or lack thereof) in the earlier stages of the reworked Story Mode. We have prepared the option for players to start from the Chapter they wish to play.
Event Period: July 1 - July 29, 08:00 (GMT+9)
- Players at Escape Lv.30 and above have Chapters 1 through 5 in Story Mode (Normal) unlocked right away.
- Log in during the event period to receive 100 extra Story Mode tickets.2. Changes to Diary Missions
Starting at July 2, 00:00 (GMT+9), the Diary Mission showed below will be changed as follows:
- BEFORE: [Main Story] Use 30 Story Tickets
- AFTER: [Main Story] Use 5 Story Tickets
- After completing Stage 3-9 (Normal) in the Main Story, this mission will be switched to “[Trophy Race] Open 1 Gold Chest.”

ReplyDeleteWhile I appreciate that you guys are listening to the fanbase now, this might have been too little too late. This entire fiasco has revealed a lot about your business practices and how you treat the fans of your game, and perhaps even the people within the company. Are you trying to tell us that not one person brought up how incredibly P2W this was? I think the invocation cards were great in theory, and gives much greater variety to the gameplay (an example of a trend I actually approve of. Like, I love Lilac's skill as much as I hate it- it requires actual skill more than just jumping at the right, very forgiving, time). However, the barrier of entry was far, far too great, and I highly doubt that the playtesters or fans of the game within the company wouldn't have brought it up. And if that never happened, either that means you didn't HAVE playtesters, or they were just shut down from the very beginning. Neither looks good.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I am incredibly critical of these practices and impressions of the company because I still love Cookie Run Ovenbreak, and would hate to see it fall to the wayside just because Kingdom is making a lot of money. And seriously, from what I've seen of the translations of the KR fanbase, seems like there's a lot that needs addressing! As awful as it is that the response to English fans' concerns are often just apologies without reflection, it's weirder that the KR audience's concerns about the gameplay itself aren't even acknowledged.
Anyways, please, please, please learn from this. I want to trust that DevSisters doesn't operate purely for money. I want to think that are being treated well and fairly. I want to believe that there is love in this game. But so far, two of these things have been blantantly untrue, and it would crush me inside if the third was too
please consider removing the cards completely from the game. the make the uniqueness of every cookie and the cookie's skill a LOT less important. also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADDRESS LILAC'S COSTUME SITUATION. that costume was not okay. please listen to what the fans said and why that costume is wrong. please listen, their culture was hurt. fans were hurt. lilac is finally playable and fans can't even enjoy him because it hurts.

ReplyDeleteI can't take the constant layout changes it's becoming very overwhelming for me, not only that dr.wasabis combi generator is broken and only gives combis of cookies and treasures that have been recently released and I feel having the card system is not only tedious but also overwhelming because now not only do I have watch my diamonds and rainbow cubes, I have to watch for contation coins, in other words you making this simple game ten times harder than it should be
